The Challenge

The Quito Tourism Public Company decided to take a step forward and take actions to present the multiple tourist attractions of the city and the options of the meetings industry in the markets of Mexico, the United States and Canada. Thus, fulfilling the commitment to develop and promote tourism to Quito with economic and social responsibility. Euroamerica Group had the objective of strengthening, increasing and consolidating the presence of the city of Quito as a tourist destination in North American markets.

The Result

Training seminars were held in the cities of Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Vancouver with representatives of the main tour operators and travel agencies in the United States and Canada; where more than 200 agents from the sector gathered. Preparation, distribution and translation into five languages of weekly press releases and newsletters. Communication plan in social networks. We carried out four promotional campaigns with Expedia, Air Canada, Aeromexico and Interjet. We managed more than 20 fams trips, where destination publications were obtained with advertising impacts of more than 500 million dollars, we participated in the elaboration and execution of a crisis plan for the 2019 general strike in the country's capital.
